The metabolic processes (anabolic and catabolic) in the human body depend primarily on nutrient intake and physical activity. Through manipulation of those two factors, the metabolism (exchange of substances) could effectively be controlled and guided in the desired direction (anabolic – synthesis, weight gain and catabolic - digestion, weight loss).
The weight maintenance depends on the balance between anabolic and catabolic processes in the body. Depending on calorie intake, somatotype (metabolic and physical characteristics) and level of activity one of the two processes could prevail and point the metabolism in one of the two directions – gaining weight or losing weight.
The chosen nutrition plan is designed for weight maintenance through a balanced nutrition plan and trainings. This is accomplished by precise control of the quantity and the percentage ratio of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, which form the total daily calorie intake. This way a balance between the anabolic and the catabolic processes in the body could be achieved. It will contribute to preserving the current body weight. This nutrition plan is appropriate for people who have already gained or lost weight and their goal is to maintain their current weight, as well as for people who are looking for a balanced and healthy nutrition plan without affecting their current body weight. Adding a training program to the nutrition plan will increase the muscle tone and lead to improvement of physical and mental health.
The supplements offered in this plan aim to facilitate the intake of the necessary nutrients. The standard duration of this plan is 12 weeks.
